PETRA FAY DEHAAS was born to James and Michelle on Friday, August 13 (no kidding!) at 6:46 a.m. She weighed 8 lbs 3 oz and is super cute of course!!
Michelle was amazing. Her water started leaking late Wednesday morning, and she didn't give birth until Friday morning!! I won't share her birth story here, not until she's read it, but suffice it to say it was an amazing time, and at the end of it we had a healthy mom, a healthy baby- and yes, a healthy dad ...even if we were all exhausted!! I was so thrilled to be there and to support them through this journey. Hope to get LOTS of Petra snuggles soon!! Here are a few pictures of the Vanwoudenberg's meeting beautiful little Petra.
Earlier this summer, we had gone to Martin's 20th year highschool reunion. It was a dinner cruise from the Westminster Quay. Great fun!
